五月是花开的季节，是感恩的季节，一切都显得那么热情洋溢。5月20日，LS中学部七年级的全体学生，用他们的热情给我们带来了一场呈现他们在校园里追逐梦想，寻找自我的精彩英文剧目《High School Musical》。这部剧使每一位学生都能走上舞台，并为这一场演出献出一份力量。台上表演、幕后策划、台下灯光音效技术支持，以及教师团队和家长志愿者，大家齐心协力共同完成一场“年度大戏”！
May is the month of flowers and for giving thanks. Everything seems so fascinating. On May 20, all the students of LSS Grade 7, with their enthusiasm, brought us an amazing and fabulous English drama “High School Musical”, which shows them how to look for their inner self and realize their dreams. The play enables every student to step onto the stage and contribute to the performance. Stage performances, scenes supervision, stage lighting and sound technical support, as well as teachers’ and parents’ volunteering, all working together, contributes to the most fabulous drama of the year!
在剧中同学们”化身成角色”，塑造不同的人物形象和角色特点。例如：教师、教练、父母和有个性的学生。通过不断地揣摩、探讨和练习，同学们都努力超越自我，成为了舞台上靓丽的角色。
In the drama, the students “stepping into roles” create different figures, show various kinds of characters and become another self. For example: teachers, coaches, parents and students with characteristics. Through observation, discussion and performance in the early stage, the rehearsal and polishing in the middle stage, and the addition of costumes and props in the later stage, the students strive to surpass themselves, so that they can get something from this “big play”.
这次戏剧表演中，我担任了本班级副导演与整场戏灯光音效师的职务。我觉得这是一次很好的锻炼和学习的机会，虽然排练和演出时我都在幕后“黑屋”里，但是能得到这样特殊的角色，帮助到整个年级的同学，我感到很骄傲。
In this drama performance, I acted as the assistant director and lighting and sound division. I think this is a good opportunity to exercise and learn. Although I was in the “black room” behind the scenes during rehearsals and performances, I am very proud to be able to get such a special role to help students throughout the grade.

刚接触戏剧的时候我并不喜欢，也不认为我真的可以演好角色。经过老师的指导和家人朋友的鼓励，我勇敢尝试，克服紧张和焦虑的情绪。最终在表演的舞台上，我听到台下观众的掌声，我知道自己成功了！通过这一学学年戏剧表演练习，我找到了一个“新的自己”。希望以后能有更多的机会站在舞台上，我会表现的更好哦！
When I started learning drama, I found it was not my favorite subject owing to that I think I cannot act out as Gabriella. However, after the instruction of my teachers, the encouragement of my friends and the assistance of my family, I finally made it. I’ve found a new “me” after drama class. I hope that there will be more opportunities to stand on the stage in the future, and I will perform better!

在这次的戏剧演出中，我饰演的角色Sharpay——一位骄横跋扈的“作精”。刚开始接触这个角色去表演时，不能将Sharpay这个人物性格表现得很到位，但是经过老师的指导，与同学们一起探讨，我的表演有了质的飞跃，并在演出当天得到了老师和同学的夸赞。
In this drama performance, I played the role of Sharpay—- an arrogant and annoying “drama queen”. When I first started acting, I was so shy and nervous that I couldn’t act naturally. So Mr. Lin help me to find the feeling, and even performed for me as an example. With his help, I made a qualitative leap in my performance and received compliments from my teachers and classmates. This is not just a performance for me, but also another shining point in my life.

融合课程七年级的特色课程戏剧已经第三年了，每一年都会有不同的惊喜，舞台上的同学们星光闪耀，台下的家长们掌声不断，不仅是对每一位同学的赞美和鼓励，更是对专业老师的肯定，让我们一起期待明年“戏精们”带来的表演吧！
It’s the third year since G7 started the integrated drama course. Every year is full of surprises. The student stars shine on the stage and the parents applaud. It’s not only the praise and encouragement for each student, but also the affirmation for the professional teachers. Let’s look forward to the performance brought by the “actors” next year!
