Local Secondary English Festival
英语节的活动精彩纷呈，今年的主题是“用新的视角探索世界”。同学们进行了为期一整个月的项目化学习。在中外合作教学课上阅读了英语原版小说之后，根据小说的内容制作了炫目的门框画。书评活动和趣配音这些系列活动也进一步开拓了学生的思维，让孩子们感受到了学习英语的乐趣。
The English Festival has been a wonderful opportunity for our students in local secondary. A variety of interesting and well-made project presentations were expertly presented, classroom doors were covered by amazing artwork based on their guided reading novels, and the book review activities as well as the dubbing competition also further developed the English skills of our students in fun and creative ways!
1.门框艺术装饰画 Door decoration
——最沉默的孩子有着最响亮的呐喊！
The most silent child has the loudest cry !
我看见沉默的你，
我看见五彩的画笔，
斑斓的世界，
是向日葵吻你的甜蜜。
我看见专注的你，
是银杏的叶子不肯离开枝头，
我在静默的星空下听到，
你最响亮的呐喊。
I saw you, silently painting
With a colorful paintbrush
Picturing a world of beauty
So absorbed.
A scorched bird wrenching from its nest,
You dance your way into oblivion
But I hear you,
Your loudest cry…the cry
Echoing through the night.
2.项目化学习 Project based learning

冬日即将到来，中国馆的华彩始终在暗夜中发光。温暖、夺目，沐着我们蓬勃地生长，不仅照亮了整个浦东协和，还会一直伴随着我们长大、老去。在我们的生命中灼灼其华。
Like the glowing China Pavilion beside our school in the beginning of winter, the light of learning and knowledge shines brightly in our students. It nurtures them like a light inside a green house, helping them grow regardless of the season or situation. Indeed, the future looks bright!
